Los angles & The planet

During Pride, on Saturday 2nd of August, Los Angles and The Planet are taking over TILLATEC for an 18-hour rave. We are very proud to host these two collectives in our club! Get to know them and get your tickets!

Tell us about the name, The Planet! How did that come about?

Very simpe actually, In the L-word, the groundbreaking American series about a group of lesbians in LA, there was a bar, owned by one of the main characters, called The Planet. The L-word was groundbreaking because it was the first mainstream TV show centered on queer women. It showed a very realistic depiction of what queer relationships could be. And it was one of the first shows with a trans character. So the name is also an ‘ode’ to the series.

WHAT HAS BEEN MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT ON A LOS ANGLES NIGHT?

Our first event at Kanaal40 was a fave for a while, but the weekender topped it—two days of incredible talent and nonstop good vibes. We’ll also never forget the chaos of a harp being carried through a packed crowd mid-clubnight—totally flipping the energy between two heavy DJ sets. Magic.
