TILLATEC ARTIST RESIDENCY PROGRAM

OPEN CALL FOR EMERGING
FLINTA / BIPOC ARTISTS

We are inviting applications from local emerging artists to participate in a new residency program that transforms a club into an evolving, immersive art environment.

Running from May to October, the program is divided into three residency periods of two months. Each period pairs one established artist with one local emerging artist, creating space for exchange, experimentation, and dialogue within a nightlife context.

Selected artists will present work that becomes part of the club’s spatial and sensory experience.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are seeking artists working across:

Spatial and immersive interventions
Audiovisual installations
Light-based work
Projection and moving image

Projects should respond to the club environment — its architecture, atmosphere, and flow — and contribute to creating an immersive, multi-room experience.

We are particularly interested in works that:

Engage with light, sound, and perception
Activate transitional spaces (hallways, entrances, thresholds)
Experiment with movement or are interactive
Provide an experience

The artwork should be an existing work or an adjusted version of an existing work and will be presented in the club for one of the 2 month periods.
Each residency period is guided by a theme developed in dialogue with the invited established artist. We will choose art pieces that correspond with the conceptual aim of each period.

The residency includes:

Curatorial and production support
An artist fee of €500
Access to the club space and technical setup
